'Male Karen [is] trying to steal my stepson's inheritance': Top Karens of the Week (August 19, 2024)

This week's crop of Karen stories ranges from the classic expected behavior of the entitled people of the world to unexpected levels of entitlement.

First, we have a parking saga involving a crazy-eyed Karen who couldn't be patient to wait to get out of the same parking lot as everyone else who was stuck there waiting. Then, we have a one-star review from a Karen customer who was caught exaggerating about her so-called horrendous experience. Finally, we've got a scheming male Karen in the family who was trying to cheat the Redditor's stepson out of his own well-deserved inheritance. 

We wish this level of entitlement could be unlearned, but the truth of the matter is that there is no point in trying to teach manners to a Karen. Once a Karen… always a Karen. Since I'm a people pleaser I actually did the whole "crane my neck" thing for a few seconds and saw that the cars were clearing out in front of us. Karen was out of my face for no more than 10 seconds before I saw her huffing up to my car again like angry Donald Duck.

    It's a horrible experience and never go there again. It was my first time to call this restaurant and made an order there at 7 pm last Friday. The female staff who answered my phone call told me I could pickup my order after 35 minutes. I arrived in the restaurant at 7:35 pm and this staff confirmed my order and said I needed to wait for a couple of minutes.
